Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PicVerto (the "App"), operated by Aswathy S, trading as Vembre Interactive ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
The App
PicVerto is an Android image processing utility. All image processing happens on your device.
Accounts
The App does not require an account. Subscriptions are tied to your Google Play account.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
The App offers optional paid subscriptions. Current pricing, trial terms, and feature details are shown at the point of purchase in Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play Store > Subscriptions > PicVerto.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Refunds within Google Play's refund window are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy.
- For refund requests outside Google Play's window, you may contact picverto@vembreinteractive.com.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App, except as permitted by law.
- Distribute modified or unauthorized copies of the App.
- Circumvent subscription limits or billing systems.
- Use the App to produce content that is illegal, infringes on others' rights, forges documents, or violates another person's privacy.
You are responsible for the images you process and the outputs you produce.
Your content
You retain ownership of your images. The App processes them on your device; we do not receive, store, or access your image content.
Outputs and fitness for purpose
The App provides image processing and document utilities. Outputs (compressed images, scanned PDFs, ID-size photos, and similar artefacts) are produced by your actions on your device. We make no representation or warranty that any output will meet the specific requirements, dimensions, file size limits, image quality standards, biometric specifications, or acceptance criteria of any government, institution, employer, embassy, examination authority, photographer, or other third party. You are solely responsible for verifying that any output is appropriate and compliant before submitting or relying on it.
Our intellectual property
The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by Aswathy S (trading as Vembre Interactive). Your license to use the App is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and for personal use only.
Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services and platforms (including, for example, providers of app distribution and billing, on-device machine-learning utilities, analytics and crash reporting, subscription management, and marketing measurement). Our Privacy Policy describes the categories of providers we currently rely on and the kinds of data they process; the specific set may change from time to time. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, behavior, or privacy practices. Your use of these services is governed by the respective providers' terms and privacy policies, in addition to these Terms.
Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aswathy S (trading as Vembre Interactive) from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App in violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party right, your submission of any output produced by the App to any authority or person, or your use of any output to forge, misrepresent, or impersonate.
"As is"
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or Android version.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App is limited to the total amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim. If applicable law requires a higher minimum amount for this limitation to be enforceable, the limitation is that minimum amount.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, lost profits, device issues, or business interruption.
Any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to these Terms or the App must be brought within twelve (12) months after the cause of action arises; otherwise it is permanently barred, except where applicable law requires a longer minimum period.
Events beyond our control
We are not liable for any delay, failure, or interruption in providing the App caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, government action, network or hosting outages, third-party service failures (including failures of Google Play, Firebase, or other providers we depend on), or epidemic conditions.
Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use PicVerto. Users between 13 and 18 should have parental or guardian permission.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination for breach, no refund is due; for other terminations, Google Play's subscription refund policy applies.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
