Overview
Vembre Interactive ("we") operates the PicVerto mobile application ("App"). This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.
Key Point: All image processing happens locally on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
Data We Collect
Your photos and files are processed entirely on your device. We never
upload, store, or access them. Processed files are saved to your gallery
(DCIM/PicVerto) and stay under your control.
Anonymous analytics are collected through Google Firebase to help us improve the App. This includes:
- Feature usage events (e.g., "image compressed", "PDF created")
- Crash reports and performance metrics
- Network performance traces (e.g., request latency)
- Device type and OS version
- Country-level region (derived from your IP address; IP addresses are not stored long-term by Firebase)
- App version, session duration
A Firebase Installation ID (an anonymous, app-scoped identifier) links analytics and crash data to an app installation. It is not tied to your identity. Advertising ID collection is disabled — no ad identifiers are collected.
Firebase Anonymous Authentication creates a temporary session identifier without requiring sign-up or any personal details.
Subscription & Purchase Data
PicVerto offers optional paid subscriptions managed through RevenueCat. When you subscribe, RevenueCat collects:
- An anonymous app user ID (not linked to your personal identity)
- Purchase history (product ID, transaction date, expiration date)
- Device platform and OS version
- Country and currency (derived from your IP address)
RevenueCat does not collect your name, email address, or payment card details — payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. This data is used solely to validate your subscription status and provide aggregate purchase analytics.
RevenueCat's privacy practices are governed by the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
How We Use This Data
We use analytics, crash, and purchase data only to:
- Fix crashes and improve stability
- Understand which features are used
- Validate subscription entitlements
- Guide future development
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following services:
- Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage statistics
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting
- Firebase Performance — app performance monitoring
- Firebase Remote Config — app configuration (e.g., minimum version checks)
- Firebase Auth (Anonymous) — anonymous session management
- RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase validation
Firebase services are governed by Google's Firebase Privacy Policy. RevenueCat is governed by the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Anonymous analytics and crash data is processed by Google Firebase. Anonymous purchase data is processed by RevenueCat for subscription management. No data is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Data Storage & Deletion
Files you process in PicVerto are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to any server. You can delete them from within the app or by uninstalling.
To keep the app stable and functional, we collect pseudonymous telemetry — including a device-scoped identifier, crash logs, and app interaction events — via Google Firebase, and purchase history via RevenueCat. This data is not linked to your name or contact information.
To request deletion of this data, tap Contact Support in Settings and request data deletion. This will automatically attach your pseudonymous device identifiers so we can locate and delete your records within 30 days.
International Users
Analytics and purchase data is processed by Google (Firebase) and RevenueCat, whose servers are located in the United States and other countries. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of anonymous data to these services. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, our lawful basis for processing anonymous analytics data is legitimate interest in improving the App. You have the right to contact us with questions or complaints about data processing.
Children's Privacy
PicVerto is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy and will reflect changes in the "Last updated" date above.
